What kind Do I have?
Okay, So I'm new in the modding scene, but I'm not a COMPLETE noob. I checked with my phone, and I know it's a v3xx, but when I look up the v3xx themes, they aren't the kind for my phone. My phone doesn't have 12 items when I load the menu. And when I put skins on from the 240x320, they don't work. Or at least the ones I try don't work. (by this I mean that it saves onto the phone, but there are some pretty major errors with it) The most major errors includes not seeing any of the icons at the top of the screen, and the scrolling menu's look pretty messed up. I thank you for any help that you can give.
OH, and as another question, when I'm installing MIDlets on this phone, it doesn't keep them on the phone. When I choose restart on motomidman, the phone restarts, but apparantly loses any program I put on. Can anyone help me here? I can live without new skins (Or I can at least make my own.

So far no skin functions 100% on V3xx or V3xxr. Nothing like V3. Seem edits will be found to correct this as time goes.
Try just copying games jar file to mem card and install them from phone java menu.

Oh, thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I was actually thinking of making my own skin, just a matter of finding how to replace the images.
As for the midlets, they don't even stay on the phone. And how would I install them from the Java System? I don't know how to do that, all I know is that I can access Games and Apps.
Anyways, thanks for the help, now I can get away from frustrating myself even more and focus on actually getting some useful stuff on my phone.

Check your S/W version, As far as I know the V3XXR uses S/W version R27231 or R272311 and as many as 3 different bootloaders. Very little information is available for this model and some programs don't work with it...yet.

Check this,

if yours is a V3xxr, it will start with R272
press *#power all at the same time and it will go into Bootloader mode and tell you your version
