v3xx or v3xxr ?

I read that there is no hole on the internal camera for the v3xxr, what does that mean? I need to change my LCD screen and I want to purchase the right one.

remove the battery and post what it says the s/w version is. even tho it says v3xx, doesnt mean thats what it is. alternatively you can view the full s/w version in RSDlite. just power on the phone and plug it in to the PC. that is if you have the drivers installed already.

I have V3xxr and I need a LCD screen will a V3xx screen work in this phone?

yes it is a v3xxr, but good luck finding a screen for it. i did a quick search at a few places that sell parts... none for v3xxr

I put a v3xx screen in a v3xxr, works fine. The only difference I noticed is that my latest R doesn't have the hole for the red LED next to the camera lens... only get 2 flashy chargy lights.
