need some tutorials and commands help

Hello everyone.

I dont know anything about linux.

I installed ubuntu 9.10

Now, for zn5, i want to squash and unsquash .smg files.
So, that a new .smg file can be made, and i am able to flash it.


CAN anyone help me about it , pleaze.

In cygwin , CG36 cannot be done properly, so i wanted to do on ubuntu.

Can anyone make a guide to follow it ?

Or rather, link me to somewhere , from where i can get help on making it !!!

But i need about ubuntu .
How to extract .smg files in ubuntu command!!!!

alaminok im already said to you how to compile or uncompile

to compile use this command

sudo mksquashfs /home/name/downloads/extract /home/name/download/My_CG36.smg

to uncompile use this
sudo squashfs /home/name/Location/extract /home/name/Location/my_cg36.smg
