turn my laptop into a lapdock?

i've recently got this droid RAZR and i've see an accessory called "lapdock" where you dock your phone in and it uses it as the operating system. is there anyway to turn my laptop into one?

The Lapdock 100 is designed for your Singapore RAZR, but no availability is shown on the Moto website. It is autodetected by the phone & runs the built-in app to add the keyboard/screen/touchpad interface the phone's OS.

Google [android market tethering] to find apps; I believe they have the same functionality. Note some carriers request google block these apps from their subscribers, since they charge their customers for this "service". Let us know how it works.
