I guess I can make a video or something. There is an issue with the simcard detection. That leads to no data, and no sending of texts (receiving is fine). Calls works as well. Its a weird issue that I'm having a lot of trouble fixing.

btw, have you tried asking drizzy, maxisma, barak, eugene or any of the other hero guy out there for suggestions/tips? i know theyre htc guys and not really familiar with the cliq (although barak and eugene are messing with the droid now) but they have been dealing with the hero roms on the htc phones in the past.

Looking forward to seeing what you got! Im primarily interested in seeing how smooth it runs. I know its not ready and like you said there are some issues like the SIM detection, but a teaser would be greatly appreciated (and I think I speak for most of us here when I say that )

Yes,please upload so you can get help from unlikely sources. Plus,if someone has a fix and you release broken Hero,we can just make a patch update.zip instead of waiting on you to integrate the fix into a new build. And I'd like to play around with this,it'd be better than trying to play MAG this morning. :P

Nah I want him to do all the work, not to be selfish or lazy but he has come all that way off bringing that ROM to work he deserves all the credits but if he needs testers then sure upload it.

well assume off the bat the homescreen doesnt work in landscape, because thats how the hero interface has always been.

Well,if he ports the 2.1 Rosie,we would have landscape hero homescreen. Or he could just apply the ignore keyboard position hack on it like some G1 Hero ROM devs do.
