Be patient people! that was posted this morning ^-^ I'd much rather have a stable, working rom, than a rushed and glitchy one..

he isn't obligated to give us any kind of update the fact he has been so active with us is nice but he is doing all this on his free time and on his own dime. be patient

When are we gonna see a final release of this rom?! Its looks amazing and I really want to try it out... even if its a beta release...!!

Sorry for the delay guys. I'm a longhorn and am on break right now (I live in Houston). I went up to Austin for the last few days for the game, which we lost

. But I'm back to Houston now.

Let me explain the main problem that is keeping this rom from being released right now:

The radio comes up, and we are able to get signal, but for some reason the phone has an issue recognizing the sim card. We believe it has to do with the Stk.apk or something like that. Barak and I have been looking into it (with the exception of the last few days when I was out of town). The reason I have to wait, however, is because he is releasing a rom that is completely deodexed. We need that deodexed rom in order to use it as a base for grabbing certain files and pushing them into the hero build.

Barak and I have been looking very closely at the rom, but are now having an issue with signatures in one of the APKs that we took from the cliq, that we believe has to do with the SIM issue. We are contemplating resigning the entire rom (all APKs and Frameworks) with new keys in order to get them to recognize one another but have no idea if that will work correctly.

I also just got a Nexus and have been playing around with that. Its a gorgeous device

Again, sorry for the delay guys, I've been trying to get it out for you and feel bad that you guys have to wait. This is my first time porting a rom on my own and the Cliq is new to me. I've been learning the ropes as I go. Barakinflorida is much better dev than me and I have been learning a lot from him.

If I can't get hero's data to work correctly soon, I will just release what I have so someone else can take a crack at it.

bro, didnt know this, take your time. i too am a fan. i had the worst day ever after that. tried to call off work bc i didnt even wanna see anybody, got pulled over for going 70 in a 60 WHILE PEOPLE WERE PASSING ME, customers at my work were extremely rude, then to top it off..... Jim Leavitt got fired (head coach of USF, my alma mater) . and no im not a bandwagon tx fan, my mom lived out in austin my whole life pretty much and i spent summers out there and now my wife and i are actually looking into moving to round rock.

but yeah, im there for you in your time of pain. the worst part was the fashon we lost in and the circumstances.

ne ways, keep up the hard work man. i know a bit but just now how to exicute so wouldnt be any help but i was on the line the other night with barak and he seemed to be optomistic about it.
