Im sorry, im kinda new to this rooting game. so what your telling me its just some images from the nexus phone? and with that..u can make a rom with it then u can flash it right?

An image means it's a "Snap Shot" of all the software on the phone, so all the files that are needed to run it. But it's a huge process to try and convert it to a different device

I have tried porting it using THIS VERY image dump and everything works wonderfull... i removed a couple of things to optimize it for the cliq but nothing major.. since the the Nexus One processor is a 1GHz SnapDragon... but sadly... i have not gotten the radio to work. along with camera, among other little things. It is still very buggy... but an average user will not notice most bugs... I have not talked to Barack yet but Once the Hero rom Gets the radio fixed.. i will look into it and see how they fixed it so that way I can fix the radio and releasing it to you guys. The thing i love is that you can still apply the Animated backgrounds and not notice ANY lagg whatsoever.

Lol! Excuse my typos.... I only use my computer strickly for devolpments... and use my cliq to surf the web and everything else... therefore, please realize that I'm typing on a 2x6 keyboard... (rough estimate) and about this being fake, I do not own any recording media of any type... sold my nikon bcause I am not much of a camera guy.. the 5mp on the cliq are enough to satisfy my needs... the reason I have not even posted a thread about this is because I JUST got it working about 3 days ago, I keep reflashing the phone because since the radio doesn't work, I can't keep the rom on the phone throughout the whole day... so when I come home, I flash the Nexus rom and test to see if there are any random reboots, to check if everything runs smooth, try to figure bugs and basically use it as much as possible to see if I run into a bad Script... so far, so good... Also, this is the first time I actually ported over a rom of any type. I will release It once BARAK finished fixing the radio but keep in mind that I'm also trying to figure the problem out... if I end up finding a fix, I will immediately post it in a different thread for whoever runs into such problem and need the fix... until then... I will be heavily testing everything for bad codes... I would expect to release this rom in about 1 week through 3 weeks TOPS! Please realize that it took a lot of work so far from my part to actually make this run on a processor that has HALF the capacity of those found in the nexus one. The reason why I decided to port it over was because I love the nexus one interface, but I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a Physical Keyboard... which is a biggie for me... anyways... Ill keep everyone updated abou these works...

Of this is the case why don't you work with the Hero rom as well... Once the Radio is fixed there then it could lead to the fix on all the roms. I would like to see you set up a download link so that we can see proof. I have not seen that getting 2.1 on the cliq is possible yet that is why I am so curious.

Well, Im trying to fix the radio, and once i fix the radio i will pass it on to Persian so he can edit the thread. I believe that once i fix this issue, it will help out all other roms for the cliq. And the you can achieve getting 2.1 by deleting everything and REFLASHING the WHOLE android system itself. Think of it as, Deleting EVERYTHING on your PC Including the operating system itself and installing LEOPARD OS on it. Same concept applies here. The only reason why they dont have roms that are 2.1 yet is because of all the trouble one has to go through to delete EVERYTHING, including the base of motoblur.
