Man I can't get any themes to install with metamorph on this one. I have installed the rom 3 times now. I have wiped the sd card completely and repartitioned it a few different times as well. Wiped system and sdcard.

Metamorph works fine. Created the busybox link etc.. Install theme packages and I get no errors with metamorph. I reboot (multiple times) and still no theme. When I use the nexusonev2 theme it won't boot past the white motorola boot screen.

I'm not complaining or anything please don't get the wrong idea. I am just pointing out an issue that i'm having. Maybe it's just me haha. Anyways other than that this rom seems pretty sweet. Nice work

Got tied up for a bit, the first post has been updated w/ V1.0.3.1 w/ the fixes to the problems people were having w/ HTC_IME.apk & the missing /system/xbin/cp link.

I'm not sure what problems you're having w/ MetaMorph, but I'll look into it tomorrow if I have time. I'll definately look at it tomorrow night if I don't get to it tomorrow. I just did a clean wipe w/ 1.0.3.1 & I haven't had any issues so far.

Any chance you could look into the WiFi issue I am having for your next release? Basically the phone will not connect if the gateway address is on a different subnet. My works router sets this automatically, leaving me with no WiFi whilst at work. (DHCP sets phone IP to 192.168.10.x, but gateway is 81.138.x.x and the router automatically creates and uses a bridge)

O we can install apps from other series o the phone? IE new gmaps and newer youtube from Droid.

(DHCP sets phone IP to 192.168.10.x, but gateway is 81.138.x.x and the router automatically creates and uses a bridge)

I've not had any issues w/ the wifi. In fact, after compiling the new kernel/wifi module, my download speed almost doubled. I got an email from ITMASTER asking about a problem w/ Wifi on the DEXT that he's been having on a different build. Can you send me a log from like adb logcat or use the log collector program that is installed w/ the rom & send me the output? Thanks.

The build.prop is completely stock except for the ro.modversion= that was added to show the mod version. The only time you'll see that is if you're at the command line & type lucid -v as root. It says it KB7SQI's Cliq Mod V1.0.3.1, etc. As stated in the first post. My goal was to create a build that's full/stable first. Yeah, I'd love to have some of extras from Donut/Eclair running on my cliq like I have on my G1, but to be honest, I really don't miss them. I have Co-Pilot for gps navigation & it runs fine on the cliq. But I am looking forward to getting Eclair. Take care.

No the rom keeps everything in /system but the udupate-script does format /cache when flashing.

In the latest build V1.0.3.1, I added it to the update-script so it get's done automatically when flashed. So that way you don't have to do it after flashing. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to do that... Its the network at work I'm having issues with. Simply put, our router dishes out 2 different sets of IP addresses on DHCP - some PCs get a direct connection to the internet and take an external IP address - if the router doesn't know them though, it assigns an internal IP address - but the gateway address is in the external range. If I give the phone an IP address in the same range as the gateway, ie 81.138.x.x, it connects no problem - this would be the case for 99% of wifi networks. If the phone IP is in the 192.168.x.x range, but the gateway is in the 81.138.x.x range it fails.

I'll attempt to get a log tommorow - any tips on how to do this?

I was having the metamorph problems too, but if you apply each part of the theme separately, it works. i installed the nexus one theme piece by piece and when i got to the fonts and framework it required be to reboot. after i did, everything was themed.

So I downloaded the 1.14 and I guess i just dont know enough commands for Linux to get it to install correctly... So I guess I will wait for someone smarter then I to try it and see... And installing piece by piece didn't work for me either...
