ROMs for British Orange UK devices

I'm rooted, and have tried any ROMS.

However, they all seem to be T Mobile USA, and well... I'm not American nore is my phone

Are there any patches, or something so my phone is British once more?

I'm also British using an Orange UK Dext - the T-Mob US ROMS you will find on this site all work perfectly with your Dext. However - I am currently having a minor issue with my phone telling me there is an update available. I would advise you wait until this is resolved. (although it could be a problem unique to me I suppose)

The problem I am having is deciding to use the new radio, I am a bit weary if it would mess up my signal or anything and I cba right now to do any changes to make it work.

Once I get my cliq replaced/fixed, I'm working on a "basic" enhancement pack for the UK/BR/MX Dext's, which are using the older radio. This will be a subset of my 1.0.x US roms. The most important enhancement will be the kernel/modules which will allow wifi-tethering, swap, compcache, etc. It's also include the other enhancements in my builds like much more upto date apns-conf.xml, updated busybox, installd,zipalign, etc. I don't want to release anything till it's been tested though. When i was using your ROM for the day before I upgraded it kept telling me there was an OTA update, I think it may have been because it thought it was a T-Mobile USA ROM. Which would be annoying because it happened every hour and never actually updated. Just a heads up from a UK Dext, maybe you could disable it by pulling the MotoUpdate apk?

Thats exactly my problem... And I still have it after flashing the latest ROM

I have a UK Dext from Orange which is unlocked, i've flashed the new radio and Handler 1.3 and it's working fine on the 3 network, no OTA alerts, hope that helps a bit..

Yes, it will work fine. However, you won't be able to revert back. Also, I found the problems started to happen when you use Metamorph.

Also, if you go back to your backup, or even a older ROM it won't work.

Movistar Rom is based on 1.1.7 (or previous) (no battery manager, no touch sliding in album/picture viewer,...). Do you really think it's worth it to backport features to that ROM when Spanish users can use other 1.1.31 based rom out there?
