Cliq will not get Flash Player!!!

Does that mean that we will never get Flash Player 10 on the cliq? I did not see the Cliq XT on the list though, doesn't the cliq and Cliq Xt have the same hardware?

You need a Snapdragon or something like it to run Flash so no, the Cliq will not get anything above Flash lite.

Not a big deal to a lot of users, and is a big deal to others. I bought the Cliq not expecting it to have flash at all. I honestly think it's pointless on a small device. I'd rather use a desktop for things that require flash.

umm............ no, you dont need the qualcom processor to run flash. heck, hero, even on 1.5, has flash. why do you think i want it so bad? i used to only tun hero on my my touch. this thing would run hero even better. but it doesnt look like hero is going anywhere.

Flash will be released for Android 2.x. we will be getting 2.1 this next quarter. I'm pretty positive we'll have flash... as for the needing a snapdragon, the Droid has a Qualcomm not a snapdragon and it'll be the first to get flash.

Actually you can view youtube in HTML 5 without having flash player. My Azbox plays youtube videos using HTML 5, thats how I know about this stuff. Dunno if our cliqs use html5 or flash though.

Like stev said let wait and see wat 2.xx hold for us cliq owners. Were geting roms now not 100% good but its a working progress so I say just wait and will see wat happens

Snapdragon IS a Qualcomm chip set. The Droid had an older Qualcomm configuration, Snapdragon is just the fancy fast ghz speed one.

HTML 5 allows for video coding natively I believe. Basically it's got stuff that does the same as flash.

As far as the qualcomm/snadragon goes I was not aware Cool learning new stuff already
