Thread: FMRADIO on CLIQ/DEXT [WORKING]
- 03-14-2010, 01:11 PM #31
This is only for rooted phones. Copy all the FMRadio files (apk and 3 lib files) to your sdk/tools folder and then push them using the following code:
If you don't have adb setup, check out the bible under the main cliq forum. It will show you how to setup sdk and how to use adb.Code:adb remount adb push FMRadio.apk /system/app adb push libfmradioplayer.so /system/lib adb push libFMRadio.so /system/lib adb push libfmradio_jni.so. /system/lib adb shell reboot

hi
great work! thank you very much!
is there any way to change radio volume other than fmradio console app?
#fmradio
fmradio>set volume 1
setVolume::setVolume(1)setStreamVolume: volume=1,maxVolume=15,volume_f=0.004467 volume_i=6
audio->setStreamVolume returned 0
thanks!

Working on Handler 1.3
Works on Handler 1.3
Now I have to buy a cheap set of headphones and sacrifice them to make a pigtail antenna without the earpieces. Something smaller just to plug in to fool the phone into thinking the headphones are in.

Any 3.5mm cable works, including 3.5mm to 3.5mm, stereo speakers, cheap headphones, etc...then you can play through loudspeaker.

I dont think that this would work with 2.1 because of the fact that handlers rom was based off the cliq xt... all the 2.1 roms are based on a leak for the regular cliq... this fm hack only works on cliq xt based roms. Also, you do not flash these files through recovery. WHat you do is put the files in the zip folder in the corresponding SYSTEM/xxx folder....

Thanks so much. I just rooted my Cliq 2 days ago and am on the speed course on file management. I am trying to use a terminal emulator to put these files from SD to the phone. The "pushing" of the files I don't understand. Can someone dumb it down for me? Happy new year to all

[MENTION=3236187]akuma167[/MENTION] - this will not work on our 2.1 ROMs yet. Once the CliqXT official 2.1 is released the developers can get it ported over.
