i do not know if what i am goig to ask is feasable, but since you are working on the data part could you try to address the issues regarding the 850MHz radio that make mexico and brazil not having 3g working properly?

hey... i´m from Brazil too...

to get 3g work, he will need to change the radio, and i don´t think it´s safe. We need to wait Claro´s Developers to create
a new OTA with radio.

there is an italian rom for the dext in the firmware sections with the same bootloader version as the cliq, maybe u can extract the radio IMG from it and make it work in 3g.

Dunno if that italian rom will work, as in Italy they use 2100 for 3G and users affected are running 3G in 850

if you cant use the phone in its stage, maybe you should wait for more of a stable build/ no one asked you to flash it/ and i am certain you are not doing anything to contribute/ so go back to your "being able to make a call state" and quit complaining/ these guys spend alot of time on these without any financial concern/ we should be so lucky to have the skill and talent that they use.

so how far out is alpha 2 - once calls and data are fixed i think i'll flash as the cliq is my primary phone - though ive been looking for an excuse to get a new one. unfortunately, aside from the nexus one there is nothing as good as the cliq on t-mob.

There's always the mytouch slide coming out on june 2nd...only 600 mhz but does have 2.1 maybe froyo soon after release...noone knows
