There is a widget called Power Control, use it to turn off GPS.

hey travis and jr im havin problems with superusers i flashed the fix then did a backup cause im switchin between 1.6 n 2.1 and everytime i switch i have to flash the fix over again any solutions or can u maybe fix it in alpha 2 thanks keep up the good work
o btw i got google goggles on the phone but when u open it it FC :'(

happy birthday, you are doing a fantastic job.
There are lots o people in brazil waiting for this, and there are people already testing.
i do not know if what i am goig to ask is feasable, but since you are working on the data part could you try to address the issues regarding the 850MHz radio that make mexico and brazil not having 3g working properly?
