Ok guys, here go the rules. Adhere to them and everything will go smoothly.

1) NO bashing whatsoever. That includes bashing users, things, corporations, etc. All posts that do not comply with this will be deleted with no further warning. If the same user repeats his action he will be granted an infraction, followed by subsequent ones if he decides to keep it up.

2) Keep the thread ON TOPIC. This means posting bugs, suggestions, workarounds, fixes, helping other people, etc. Try and not post stuff such as "Thanks for this excellent ROM", If you want to thank someone we have a thanks button on the bottom right of each post, in case you hadn't noticed. Also, If you are posting about a problem then GIVE ENOUGH DETAILS for people to be able to help you out, something like "My phone doesnt work" doesn't help us AT ALL when trying to figure out what went wrong. As a last note, if you did not wipe before flashing and encounter an error, WIPE AND REFLASH BEFORE posting your problem, it is likely it was caused by your own actions.

3) This is an ALPHA ROM, it is still not intended as a ROM for everyday usage, if you decide to do so then at least KNOW what you're getting into. This ROM still has bugs, So do not complain something went incredibly wrong during an extremely important meeting or that you couldn't take a picture of your sons first steps because the camera didn't work, it was your fault. This ROM is intended for an audience that has at least certain android knowledge and is well aware of the consequences of flashing it.

Hey guys dont want to get off topic just a quick question before i flash alpha 3...I'm using punk.kaos recovery image and just wondering if i wipe using this recovery image will it wipe my dalvik cache as well? Or should i flash a dif recovery?

Edit: First boot was fine, after titanium backup -restoring some of my apps and manually rebooting, I received a Boot Loop. Likely something I installed fault cause it's running fine now. Just figured I'd mention it.

Preparing some backups of my apps and then it's flash to the max we go! What a long way this Rom has already come, thanks Travis, Barak, and of course to everyone involved!

Vibration was a must for me, and now this will be a daily driver for me. Especially since theres a workaround for the headphone (3.5mm) jack. I use my phone at work as an Mp3 player for a few hours a day so that was kinda crucial. Testing will be extensive because I have alot of free time at work!

@TravisJames When do you plan on adding whatever is necessary to get 3d apps/games/emulators running back up to normal speed? Soon, or not until all the other vitals are worked out? I know that's probably not important to most users, but to me it is! Haha. I will wait patiently regardless, because this Rom is coming along so great! Just wondered where it was on the priority/difficulty list.



P.S/Edit 2: I just read OCMs post. Sorry if this post was spam or a "thanks for the great rom post". Was typing it before you posted the rules... lol. Won't do it again. Let's quit hating everybody! We all want the Rom done and to be heard but like all good things it's going to take time, and will improve with age... Let's just be thankful we have such a decent tight-knit community with people working together to get us and the cliq this far. It's a wonder that so many fixes have already been implemented since Otabbb released the original port. We should be a proud community and spreadin the love! Haha. Cheers!

I just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work. As a developer/coder I know this can be a daunting task, but the end results will be well worth the effort. Thanks for sharing! Hopefully the negativity was lost with the closing of the prior thread but we shall see. This should be a place for discussion and positive input at best and constructive criticism at worst...but negativity has no place here. I vote for negative posts to be scratched and, if the person exhibits a pattern of such behavior, let them be deleted.

Ok, got that off my chest, now lets push forward. I'm thinking Travis, Barakinflorida and the others are just scratching the surface on something that will outshine any "official" release to come from Motorola/Tmobile in its wake. Nothing against Motorola...They gave us the Cliq, you're just making it better.

i wanna flash this but im having trouble restore my nandroid backups i previously flashed the alpha2r1 successfully and i was able to use nandroid to restore back to kb7sqi 1.4.8 rom anyone know why it wont let me now?? good work so far on this rom

I just flashed alpha3, and noticed some of the same reboot issues from alpha2.1 before I disabled GPS. Is there still an issue with GPS causing the device to reboot?
