[ROM] Slide2CLIQ Alpha1 - 6/23/2010 - barakinflorida
Welcome to Slide2CLIQ, a port of the MyTouch Slide 3G created by barakinflorida.

Initial Release

This ROM requires the 1.4.8 radio for the Motorola CLIQ.
What works:
-Calls
-SMS
-Most Applications
ERRORS/ISSUES:
Since this is a alpha ROM, there are still several errors and issues:
-Data
-WiFi
-Bluetooth
-Sensors
-LED light
-Camera/Camcorder
-Hardware Acceleration
-3.5mm Headphone Jack

Love this ROM! I'm hating myself though because I am logging onto M3 and Twitter every 10 minutes to see if any fixes have been posted! lol. I am getting too excited over this!

Anyone else having to pull the battery to shut this down. When I go to power down, it just hangs on "shutting down" I let it go 10 minutes the first time, and finally pulled the battery?

Yup. That was actually a common thing back in the day; I remember the first Hero rom I flashed to my G1 had that same issue. It's not too much trouble to pull the battery really.

I was going to wait until Data and WiFi were fixed to flash this, but caved and flashed anyway. For an alpha1, I'm pretty damn impressed.

Barak is hard at work on the ROM. He fixed the proximity sensors, so no more cheek dialing, but no data or wifi yet, or anything else, I think. No ETA for Alpha2, to my knowledge. Originally Posted by Pcpro745 Motorola CLIQ
