Eclair2Cliq with EndCall button

Alright so i pushed the Droid's Phone.apk to my phone via ADB Push and here is what i came up with. I now have a EndCall button

Here is a link to the Phone.apk if anyone wants to put in on there phone. If you want instructions i will put them up later if need be.

Here is the ADB Command: adb push Phone.apk /system/app
My phone.apk file was in my tools folder of the android sdk

Here is a little easier tutorial that Chisle41 came up with

Adb Tut

Open command Promt
(make Sure 2 put the Phone apk in the tools folder inside the AndroidSDK Folder)
cd\
cd AndroidSDK\tools
adb devices
adb remount
adb push Phone.apk /system/app
adb reboot

did not work for me, force close on me everytime, using open clair 2.0.1

Wierd, Try deleting the phone.apk then pushing the droid one see if that works

gives me errors. how do you get rid of the original phone.apk or replace it? mine is read only and locked.

removed it with root explorer theres an option to mount as RW, When you delete the phone.apk your phone will give a force close error about the phone, Go ahead and push the droid apk then when you do that the force close error should go away i just did this on my wifes phone also i will post up exactly what i did on the first post

NP just want 2 make this as easy as possible for the less knowledgeable of adb

I haven't had need to install/figure out ADB yet, but this might push me over the edge... I don't suppose it would be possible for someone to make a flashable patch?

This is one thing Travis should really consider adding to Eclair2CLIQ.

i cant for the life of me delete the OLD phoone.apk
what are the commands to re-write the system because it will not let rwsystem - says its not valid
