    Samsung Vibrant (we need help extracting boot.img)

    any chance of getting this ported to the cliq ? i love the UI

    Aslong as I'm aware of. You can't port it because it does not include the Boot.Img

    yeah it would be cool, the UI and such is nice, my friends have the phone
    Phones: Cliq (titanium), BackFlip
    ROMs: CM7
    Recovery: j_r0dd/CWM and CWM
    Theme: Rom (I always forget to update this)

    I personally hate the UI... I'm not hatin on people that do like it, but in my opinion, If I wanted my phone to look like an iPhone I would buy one

    the iphone is limited, so i rather have a similar ui and keep android, forget the iphone!

    i ditched my cliq yesterday for the vibrant and i have it here sitting in my hand now. if someone can tell me how to extract the boot.img i'd be happy to do that for you so the devs can get something going for all of you. i'll tell you what, this phone blows the cliq out of the water and even makes my father in law's droid x look crappy

    if i have made a nandroid backup of my vibrant and have the boot.img on there would that be sufficient?

    Two Options..

    Either find a theme to match it, or just port the framework-res.apk, thats where the UI really is, atleast the pictures (that im aware of). ive did this earlier today for a hero theme i made.

    i have attached the framework-res from the samsung phone, now what ?
