"Leaked" 2.1 Market Fix

Don't just install the Eris Fix. Click on it's icon in the app drawer and run it (per someone else, it changes your phone's fingerprint). Then restart your phone.

After that, did you clear the cache from the market app? In manage applications, you have to press menu, then go to filter, and change it to "all," and then you'll see Market. I was resigned to trying everything in this thread, but Eris fix plus clearing the cache worked like gangbusters for me.

I'm on wtcnbrwndo4u's deblur though, so it might not work with your ROM.

It should work then (I'm on V2, if that helps). I edited above, but here are the steps I took, in order.

1. Install Eris Market Fix from the Market.
2. Run Eris Fix.
3. Restart your phone.
4. Try the Market (It didn't work at this point, but if you want to replicate exactly what I did...)
5. Clear the cache from the Android Market app.
6. Try the Market again (I didn't even reboot my phone or kill the market app or anything; I just searched for Paypal again and it showed up).

Edit: Also, the instructions for the Eris Market Fix say that it can take a couple of hours for the fingerprint cache or something to refresh (I'd give you the exact message, but I deleted the app cuz it worked and I don't need it anymore), though that might be what's being accomplished by clearing the market cache.

So odd. I downloaded Goggles (I don't know if that was there before, but it wasn't when I was using PureHandler), and yeah split and pay was all I could see before, but I can get the real deal now.

Sorry I can't be more help, but I can't figure out what I did right.

thank you guys for the help! it worked for my cliq running Eclair2CLIQ beta 1. i installed Eris Market Fix and cleared the cache and it worked fine. thanks once again.
