haha thanks bro. im slowly getting there. i made my modified vendor file, and im currently looking into some configuration files.
On top of that, ive been compiling the FROYO + Motorola Configs for the past 4-5 hours lol... so hopefully it should be done soon. I will post whats going on with it as something new happens! XD

Thanks, this looks like it will be a great ROM. Can't wait for the alpha to be released.
BTW I remember you saying you were getting a (status 4) error when flashing. I'm trying to port the the nexus one 2.2 update and I'm getting a (status 4) on flash. Did you find a fix yet, and if so would you mind sharing it?

yeah, with status 4 + status 6, its the update-script/update-binary.
to fix it, i used purehandler 1.0's update files.
(dont use w/out permission, i had permission)
but its not a "FIX" it just bypasses the errors. XD

No Cliq/DEXT aint that old.
Just consider it a cousin to the HTC Dream (G1) and that has LESS RAM, but has a Cyanogen Mod 6 (stable and fast Froyo, infact the fastest ROM they say).
Just need Moto to push out at least Eclair (similar build easy to compile), or either the closed source drivers, or get drivers from different sources. Once all the necessary builds/software stacks are available they could just be added into Froyo and iron-out the bugs.
I was going to get a Touch Pro and load XDANDROID (Froyo) on it, but I will hold out for the DEXT until hardware accelarated Eclair is available.
Yes, I'm an emulator addict and know Flash (10.1) online games will not be feasible.
