Reversed A/Q and W/Z keys on physical keyboard

I just rooted my phone, followed all info from this site and did it in the following order

1. update.zip
2. recovery.img
3. adlxmod 2.0

everything worked perfectly btw the ROM is great thumbs up to the creator

EXCEPT!!!

when I updated my phone to the .zip file (update.zip) i rebooted my phone. As I was reading the tutorial my phone received a message. I began typing but every time I clicked on the A key I would get a Q and W key I would get a Z and Z key I would get a W. I assume that the hardware keyboard had an issue while I updated the .zip file. Does anyone have ideas on how to fix the issue.

Are you sure you flashed the ROM?

Sounds like you either flashed the 1.5 french azerty keyboard version back or chose an azerty 2.1 by accident (did u accidentally leave the update.zip on the sdcard or choose that by accident instead of the new adlxmod2 rom?)

I do have the update.zip file on my SD card, I am running on the Adlxmod ROM but once I remove the update.zip will I continue to have the same problems?

It is just that sometimes, if you leave the update.zip on the sdcard, you may have accidentally chosen that file again for an update (or worse, the firmware itself sees the file and auto-updates!). Or you could have simply gotten the wrong 2.1 image with the azerty keyboard mods, there are a few patches/mods out there to support providing azerty to the t-mobile stuff for other regions.

I had the same problem when I originally rooted my phone. I fixed it by wiping all data and dalvik cache and then reflashing the rom. Hope that helps.

i had that when i rooted my phone with orange i just flash an American rom and all good
