Basically, I used BrwnMod as a guide, deleted all the things from there that were still in the ROM with the exception of AudioEffectSettings, CMP, MotoPhonePortal and StickyNoteWidget, as these were all things I used. I also installed ADW Launcher, I prefer it to any of the other launchers. I also tried doing it with the kitchen on XDA but it wouldn't flash - I'll have another go later, it's probably a silly error on my part. If I do get something working, I'll PM you. Not going to go releasing yet ANOTHER ROM which is basically the same as all the others on here, I don't agree with jacking other people's work, but since you're after specifically what I'm trying to do if I can help, I will.

Ah, in which case it could be that the fixes are taking place now. It's a great idea and I REALLY hope this can be got working. I'm way too much of a nugget to try my hand at ROM modding without a kitchen.

HINT:
The easiest way to do something like this, would be a CGI scipt.
CGI Scripts will allow you to open linux-based scripts as an application on the web server.
ive made things similar to this before
ALSO PLEASE READ!!!
You will need to take out a couple applications (such as phone.apk) from the "delete" list.
if noobs use this, and delete the wrong apks, they will definatly screw up the build. which will cause you more work giving them support.

Good points raised there OpenCliq, my personal viewpoint is that if someone is noobish enough to delete things from a ROM without researching what it does and whether they need it, they can deal with the consequences themselves. If the developer spends time on making it a noob-friendly kitchen, it's time wasted that could be better spent elsewhere.
My biggest concern about this kitchen at the moment is that we could see the forum inundated with ROMs that either rip off other people's work or don't actually work. But to see something like this for people to have a go at their own ROMs is a great thing for the community.

Technically it's not their rom unless they either built from source, or asked for permission.
However, is kitchen does the same thing as a drag and drop, then sign.
P.s. If you need help with the scripts, I'm here.

Trust me, it wasn't the OS. It does appear to be working now however, I'll have a closer look when I have the time off work.
