Looong time lurker, 1st time poster. I'm so glad to see that the community for this child phone is picking up full steam!

hoping to play w/ this site this weekend. Currently running unrooted 2.1 & luv it. but want my root back! almost giving up on this phone until i saw this.

I think this was an awesome idea. I checked the site and played around with it. It seems as though everything is pretty good. I even created a rom for myself and flashed it to my phone. You would have to try the process to find out how impressed I am by this new concept. Thanks again to the community for being the light in the darkness. Though we have lost a few soldiers I am glad that more torchbearers wait patiently in the ranks. Keep up the good work folks. And please try not to have hard feelings towards one another. Look at the shining brilliance that has come from these posts. One cannot exist without the other. Peace

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, it is my honor to inform you that one of the projects i have been working on is ready for release! Thats right guys i said it! But what is this project ive been talking about? Well several lucky members of M3 got a sneak peek at the project. But what do they think of it? Heres several of there responses to the project. Official ROM developer "j_r0dd" said it "looks great!". He might now be a developer of the Cliq but he surely does know what he's talking about, your very own "blancoisgod" said its a "sweet idea". Last but not least, yours truly "toxigenicpoem" said that the project is "Fairly neat" and "I am sure many users will find this useful". So by the looks of it, your friends here at M3 definitely like the project. But your still yet to find out what it is arent you? Not for long. Rob41195 presents to you, the one, the only, Motorola Cliq Kitchen! Many of you have been posting about wanting a simple kitchen for the cliq but havent found one yet. I myself have been looking for one for a month or two and got tired of looking. I ended up running into this guy over at XDA and he setup a website for me. And now im managing it. Ive uploaded several ROMs to the kitchen and many apps. Also you can choose to upload your own app. In the near future the kitchen will also allow you to select a bootanimation, possibly themes, etc. Anyways heres the link to the site: Cliq Kitchen

Now, what would be nice to have is for those of you that use the kitchen would you kindly give me some feedback? How does the site look? How can the kitchen be improved? Is there a ROM you want on there? Is there an app you want added? Please comment on this thread and let me know and i will do my best to get you what you want.

the site is awesome the only thing is all the roms are given as an update.zip so you have to keep both copies of the zip when it downloads i figure this out the other day.

This might be asking a lot, but of the around 30 things that you can remove, would someone be kind enough to 1. give a description of them and 2. say what would happen if you removed each one? Thanks a lot.

Oh and considering I'm on Dext Orange UK, it's fine for me to use these ROMS? I know I need to root and get some kind of radio, thanks again.

Yeah, changing your radio and whatnot basically changes your phone into a US Cliq, so it's compatible with all ROMs. It's only South American DEXTs that have issues.

This is pretty awesome. However, what's up with adding Flash Player and Chrome to Phone. None of the available ROMs can utilize these apks, right?
