Here is what I would like to do is use Beta 7 and think it is probably going to be the perfect thing for the phone, but here is where my problem is, How?
I have read many many posts and am still a bit stumped, I am using kb7sqi's ROM and it is great, I want to move up, so what I am asking is this, can someone help me upgrade? What I am asking for is a sort of step by step process on how to upgrade to the J_r0dd's CliqMod Beta7 ROM.
The one I am using had several steps of what needed to happen, I followed the process and it worked like a champion for me a newer user.
If you are using kb7sqi's ROM, you have rooted your phone so it is quite simple. I would HIGHLY recommend though checking your Recovery to make sure you have the option to wipe/erase,clear dalvik cache and also create a nandroid backup. If you do, just copy the new ROM to root of your SD card, do a nandroid backup, clear dalvik cache, wipe phone, then flash new ROM. All this is done via Recovery mode which you should already be familiar with when installing previous ROM. Good luck!
Hey im using CliqMod Beta6 and its having mms problems. i cant send mms messages and its kinda anoyying, is tht going to be fixed soon in the Beta7 Rom?
I am using Beta 7. Just tested MMS and its working fine. Try going to Wireless & Networks>Mobile Networks>Operator Selection and rechoose TMobile. It fixed a data issue I had with another ROM and I think I read about it somewhere in the forums.
