Cyanogen Mod for Cliq

I know the main focus right now are Eclair and Froyo builds for the Cliq. But has anyone ever sucessfully ported Cyanogen's Mod to the Cliq using available sources? I'm not talking about using moto cupcake sources to port CM6. I'm asking about older CM3 or CM4. I've seen a couple of posts about people trying to port CM6 to the cliq, but I think that is redundant if Moto hasn't released the sources needed to make all of the HW work with eclair or Froyo AOSP yet. I know that you fine gentlefolks have sucessfully compiled AOSP kernels for Cupcake and Donut AOSP builds. Can you assist me in compiling a CM for the Cliq. I have read the Wiki's but I get confused with trying to integrate the Cliq's HW. The make file seems to be geared more for HTC and ADPs. Can you help brotha out? This is just for experimentation and learning purposes only. SO I can prepare myself for when Moto does release thier source for new OS builds.

there were a couple of rough ports in the earlier days of cliq development but i think weve come a long way since then...I think it would be cool to see someone either complete the past projects or start their own port

cm is just AOSP with acouple custom apps....

Yeah no big deal, if u want the apps, just tear open a cm rom and push or flash them over eclair. Most should work.
