2.1 sd problem

hello im having a problem with any of the rooted leaked 2.1 roms.
any activity done with the sd card leads the phone to go to the boot logo. whether you unmount the sd via settings or you shut the phone off it does it and it also does it when the phone is booting up when it says preparing sd.
this problem is happening on both of my cliqs and they both have a sdcard.

in advance for any replies that lead to a solution

Have you tried an SD adapter? What size is your memory card?

1 cliq has a 1 gb and the other a 4gb.
its not just mounting the card to pc that does it.
its normal operations within the phone.
like turning it off it does it, or turning it on, or unmounting within settings. im now running the barely blur rom and its not doing it

correction: its doing it with that rom as well

i think i might've found the issue... it seems to be the un deoxed news widget. il post back when im certain

it wasnt the issue.
could not find it. so i decided to start work on my own 2.1 rom.
i started with the new barely blurred and put apps2sd and the gscript from jrodds rom, my own boot screen, and a few other odds and ends. still working on it but so far the issue isnt popping up. will continue testing and then maybe il upload my rom.

with my custom rom the issue is not present. i got apps2sd to work with gscript... so its not automatic and i think im going to be uploading it on here once i come up with a name for it... its fast and smooth

oh it is bud. and im not having the original issue with it . idk how i solved it...but i did when i assembled the rom

Interested to see what the changes are, I bought a new phone today so the Cliq is retired for me now. Only ROM work on it.

It has happened to me the same problem. I used alxmod and now j_rod roms. However, the last one did not happened until I installed rockplayer app.

not the cause of the issue for me because i didnt use that app. and it happened on both of my cliqs from fresh installs.


but it hasnt happened since i built my rom... its been 3 days now
