Port google"mail" app from AOSP 2.1 or 2.2 on any rom
Is there a way to install the google "mail" app from AOSP 2.1 or 2.2 on any rom? It really is the best exchange email provider.
I tried unziping eclair2cliq and just installing it that way but it said "installation unsuccessful" Can any one shed some light to why this is? or anything I can do to get it working?
I use adlx mod btw

I think you have to push the file in system/app with rootexplorer thats how I got a different music player

I installed this apk found here (first link) and was able to get the awesome exchange email client i loved so much in eclair on the motoblur 2.1 rom i use.
