I got fantastic 5megapixel resolution by throwing my cliq into the cupboard drawer when my Samsung Galaxy S arrived. Finally a camera that has features my 4year old Nokia N95 had, and at supposedly the same number of pixels as the Moto has. The moto camera is utter garbage, the camera software also, with no geotagging, no scene modes, no ISO, no exif tags with various details you see in a proper photograph. The cliq=garbage I would hate to say (and that is both the original Cupcake, and the leaked Eclair).
its unfortunate that the android community (for the cliq at least) doesnt seem to have the same level of hardware modding to drivers as other phone communities i've been a part of have had. For example, my SE w810i was flashed and debranded to "vanilla" and modded to kriomag and sarmad drivers making the camera absolutely incredible compared to stock, and it was only 3.1mp. I wish more of the hardware components were modded the same with this phone.
Not complaining because i love the work the devs have been doing to roms and such.
