CYANOGENMOD to the CLIQ

Ok so I have been fiddling around with the CyanogenMod for the hero and modded it to get onto my CLIQ. Unfortunately I am having problems with the finite details. I will copy and paste one of my posts on Cyanogens forum site and the link to my latest work. If you can help me PLEASE DO!!!

ok so i've gotten started again after the vmware crash on my win 7 install took all my work and files with it under my ubuntu image... AHHHHH.... but we are rebuilt and thank god I kept the files on my phone as backup. So here's where we are...

SDCARD-not working yet
USB DEBUGGING-WORKING
ADB-WORKING... so now the true fun begins...
KEYBOARD-FINALLY GOT IT RUNNING ON THE PHONE... yes keyboard on phone works with cliq layout.
RADIO, WIFI, BLUEZ- NOT YET!!! but with time and a little help... if i can get metafire to work right so i can upload, we shall soon see a cm6 version on the cliq...

Any help you could lend I would be much appreciated... I am learning as I go... really... I am learning this stuff by trial and error, loading files and reading the diff's, and lots and lots of comparisons... PLZ if you can help me please do... I WILL learn it but if someone can help point me in the right direction it would go much faster. THX

OK so I cant put my link in here but go over to cyanogenmod.com and forums and search for cliq and it will show up. PLZ help...

CyanogenMod? In MY Cliq? It's more awesome than I thought.

Will happy to test this baby, once you get the kinks worked out. Sorry if I can't help since I'm no developer.

Excuse my ignorance, but what are the benefits of CyanogenMod compared to what our Cliq devs have been developing?

It is just a project in the works... I want to learn how to mod and Cyanogen was the first one I really found awe inspiring when I had my G1. No offence to anyone just want to learn and figured what better of a way than fiddling with Cyanogens Mod.

Hell yea I love all the roms out there so thank u sudo handler even know they not here and j_r0dd ues ur recovery......but cyanogen on cliq would love to play with it got it on an evo and its great its the daily cyanogen would be a great add to the cliq world so yea would love to see it

Also it pure android no third party crap blur no deblured just pure android

great to hear that someone port cyanogenmod to cliq. i am not a programmer so can't help.

but try to provide some infomation here to help.
forum.samdroid.net (samsung i5700) and www.openetna.com (lg gw620) both devices have the similar hardware spec with cliq and their community developer did very great jobs to port cyanogenmod n froyo.

ok so i was running into some major issues last night playing with the build.prop and init.rc... I kept getting and xml error when I changed the SDK to 7 but that wazs easy to fix... build.prop change to sdk 8 and away I went, no more boot loop. Where I can't figure out is why the radio is not initializing. I changed the build.prop and init.rc to use the libril-qc-1.so and replaced the rild with the one from the J_R0DD's mod I am using as my base. I think I need to rethink this... after much thought I think I need to go back to the CM5.0.8 which was based on the same 2.1-update1. gimme some time and we'll see.

ok so I received this link from a guy on cyanogens forum... its only 1.5 but its cyanogen. think i will shift to using this and see if I can update the kernel tonight.

.Oh that's a swift kick to the mouth 1.5......keep trying the cm6..I think now for give me guys here but why not go talk to handler and sudo and toxic at forgive me again just trying to help simply-android.com them guys may be able hell travisjames should be able to help....

isnt cyanogen just like any other rom? whats the difference between cyanogen and other roms?

The diff is it pure android no modded blur no deblured just good ol android

thank you... I took the night off last night to take my girls trick or treating but it is on like donkey kong tonight. I am going to include the link for the entire folder on my medifire so you all can access the new 2.1.5 update zips (I have not tested yet... just got em yesterday) and all the source code for 1.4.8 but hopefully we can all collaborate and get CM running.

Is this purely a stock ROM then? I am already running a stock ROM from another site - it works pretty well!
