Phone Turns off when booting into Recovery

I'm an idiot, I was able to flash the recovery and fix my problem, sorry guys! But one question I DO have..

Every since first rooting my phone and installing eclair2cliq, my SD card wouldn't recognize after restarting my phone. I am no longer running Eclair2Cliq.. I am running the OTA 2.1 update from motorola. I just rooted it tonight, and obviously got my recovery image installed. Now I am trying to Live Wallpaper update for any 2.1 and when I choose to flash zip from sd card, it says there isn't an sd card. I had to take the back off my phone and unplug and re-plug in my sd card.. Anyone have suggestions?

Not any that I know of, sorry. But i believe its a hardware problem. However, since you already have the solution, do you still have problems flashing?

Nope, Was able to flash the custom recovery, and install the live wallpapers update. Everything seems to be working well now. Thanks!!
