Cliq 2 (Begonia T-Mo 1.0.23) fully deodexed
Hi,
I found this system dump of Cliq 2 on XDA (build MB611_begonia_tmo_us_BGN_1.0.23):
MB611_begonia_tmo_us_BGN_1.0.23_system.zip
I've fully deodexed it, if it can be useful to someone (this zip only contains the app/framework files that were odexed in the previous build, this time deodexed):
MB611_begonia_tmo_us_BGN_1.0.23-Deodexed_Only.zip

Is it firmware or a ROM? I don't want to unroot my phone but I was really looking forward to something like this

I really want the Cliq 2, but with it released to the US only with locked networks to T-Mobile, maybe soon somebody can root the firmware/3rd party one?

It's just the firmware for now. It would have to be ported to the cliq, with changes. The cliq's cpu will not support the full flash, only flash lite.

Im not sure if i should flash this. should i follow the normal procedure of flashing roms or is there something i should know before i flash? please help

Just read the post above yours. It's not a rom for the cliq, it's a system dump in case anyone wants to use the files or port anything to cliq.

Motorola has reported both files for Copyright Violation, and Mediafire has deleted them.

Can't wait for a proper ported ROM
even though Motorblur is pretty annoying, I can't really imagine the Android without it lol most of my contacts are linked to Facebook, and deblurred ROMs limit my access to them. Besides, it's 2.2, at least we will have some sort of Flash capability.

but will that has something to our advantage to cliq? or improve any rom but with these files?
