honeycomb sdk port

im working on a honeycomb port to the cliq. anyone interested?
ill give a link if it boots. stil working on it

edit: dont have a cliq anymore. someone else is working on this. search for theirs. they r a lot farther than i got

I'm in! Just a heads up - [MENTION=19266]Protocol[/MENTION]_9 has a preview ported to the CliqXT you guys should team up! That would make fixing things a lot faster! You know...2heads are better than 1 !

Not to be a buzz-killer, but the Honeycomb needs more room on the screen, otherwise it will look weird. That's the whole reason it's only for tablets. If you want to make it more like a theme/design thing, I would love it, Honeycomb is beautiful.

also there is a nice honeybee bootanimation thats also on the CliqXT Themes Section..it would go nicely with the whole theme... *justsayin

Its not going to be perfect, its just mostly for looks, the color scheme overall is pretty damn nice, not to mention it'd be pretty cool if I could brag to friends about my old phone having honeycomb and theirs not ;p

I've tried it on my HD2, and it's not as difficult to use on the smaller screen as you might think.

can you get me a link to that? might be helpful. can someone get me a working boot.img for the cliq? i only worked on this for about 5 mins so far..

I worked on this for a little with protocol, we were able to get something but not much, it has to be either a 2.3 or 2.2 kernel, 2.1 wont boot for honeycomb. i can get a link of what we had so far if anybody wants to help, but remember it doesnt fully boot, so what youll download is just something that is somewhat done
im currently making a CM7 kernel but having problems, but maybe that might work better

The link from the first post has a 2.2.1 build.prop
Explain to me how, i just wanna know right, sorry if im not polite, just trying so muh do understand how a honeycomb system runs with a froyo build.
