On 5.1 I made it about 20 hours without having/noticing issues with the SD. Some applications (Dropbox, Astro, Aldiko) still let me read and write to the SD while other apps (Root Explorer, PlayerPro, TitaniumBackup) gave me an error about an unmounted SD card.
First time I noticed the problem, I was trying to add a file to the SD from my Mac, all other USB connections were done to a Windows 7 box.
Steps taken to attempt to resolve:
Plugged in phone to computer to attempt to switch from charge only to USB device and back. The option was not available
Remove SD, Reboot, Shutoff, Reinsert SD, Turn back on.
Format SD card (with and without EXT; Windows and j_r0dd's recovery)
Wiped and Reflashed the ROM, Kernel (QWERTY w/o MT), Patch. No SD on initial boot and no success with disabling AutoWifiEnabler.
Wiped and Reflashed the ROM and Kernel (QWERTY w/o MT). Started phone = SD working. Flashed Patch = Lost SD.
Replaced SD card.
I use a 2 GB SanDisk.
I do not use App2SD or Link2SD.
I was having issues with Wifi, but wasn't having any luck with AutoWifiEnabler (What worked: putting the phone in airplane mode, restarting, before unlocking the phone holding the power button to bring up Phone Options menu, turn on Wifi)
I've run the last 48 hours with 2.1.5-5 (no patch). My SD did drop about 44 hours in, but a simple reboot worked to fix it.
Really happy with the ROM, thanks adlx, look forward to a fix as I like the features being added to the ROM.

I don't know if this is with my network, but lately my phone has been freezing whenever I get calls. Actually, it freezes, then suddenly says its out of network service (with people telling me that I hung up on them even though I never answered). Afterwards, it gets service back, but when a person calls back, same thing happens - it hangs up the call without even directing the individual to my voice mail.
I noticed this very often as I'm now paying lots of attention to my phone as I'm job hunting. I really hope this problem would be addressed, or perhaps it may even be a blessing in disguise. Nonetheless, any advice? Thanks.
I had a problem on my cliq at one time that was simular. My phone would reboot when a call came in. Come to find out the phone was running to hot and when a call came in that was enough to make it pop and reset. Turned down setcpu and got a new case and no more worries.
Did not overclock ... and phone is now actually ignoring calls

Thanks for the reply but this is really bad now. The phone is actually ignoring calls. Even though I'm getting calls (I was calling myself through a different phone), it wouldn't even ring! After that it would also stop receiving texts ...
I haven't overclocked my cpu either ... any other words of advice? Thanks!
Okay, I think I might have narrowed it down. I've been using my alarm clock on my phone for a while and snoozed my alarm ALOT. Everytime afterwards, I would notice some things not working properly, eg. Camera would not turn on after selecting it, unanswered calls, phones, and etc. It just becomes funny and freezes VERY easily. Can anybody confirm this too? Thanks!

my phone can't read anymore sdcards..says blank sdcard or unsupported filesystem...i use j_rood recovery and adlxmod for my cliq.

Has anybody solved the problem with the new ROM and wifi/SD card instability.???
I have tried to go back to the previous stable version but I couldn't do it...it hangs on boot logo...I believe it has something to do with the new version of kernel...
New patch maybe by the author????
This is far best rom i have ever used but now Im stuck with it!!! I haven't done backup and now Im waiting for the update...
Is there any chance you could provide me the download link of the 5.2 version so i could install it
