Post your custom boot screens

It was mentioned in an earlier post, we need a thread to place custom boot screens in.

just a FYI- images need to go in /system/framework/framework-res.apk/assets/images/

this is jonnybueno's bootscreen http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/down...=file&id=27938 It's a metamorph from his Blackened White theme.

http://www.zshare.net/download/7068477541b04465/ is from LaNsLyDe (it's also a MetaMorph.)

Apply them with the MetaMorph app.

I would like to thank LaNsLyDe for testing some things. We have found that /system/framework/framework-res.apk/assets/images/ must contain all 44 image sets or it will stick on the 2nd boot image. Also all image names must stay the same for it to work.

If anyone can add any additional info or image packs, PLEASE DO!

Okay I made a custom bootscreen a couple of days ago for myself but I'd thought I will share it with people however it says my name on it.

So I have included the Photoshop file to edit the name text, it is only the last 4 Images of the bootscreen.

My bootscreen:

Un-zip the file and edit the pictures or to have a preview of what it looks like on your phone just drag and drop the AndroidThemes folder to the root of your SD.

Preview:


Use metamorph and choose use existing themes, find the Bootscreen.thm and apply, reboot.

To match my bootscreen with the fade effect on this bootscreen while editing the text, just type it and have the optimacy go up 25% for each overwrite.

Not taking no more requests for this theme now.

Note: This bootscreen will slightly differ from the actual NeXus, this is because the Cliq loads boots differently but from what I have now it still has the motion of the X, also to note is that the image had to be scaled abit due to the size differences in screens of the NeXus and the Cliq, doesn't include that start-up bit on the preview, hopefully V2 does.


2 Days later and success!!!!!, going to do revisions of this bootscreen to be better but here is V1.

i made a bootscreen for you lovely people. basically my ultimate bootscreen.
Basically the 'blur' blurs a bit in the original way and then the lady turns green a bit.
