Porting themes from iphone?

Before I got my cliq my gadget that i modded and themed and stuff was my ipod touch. long story short i stumbled upon a theme that I just LOVED. I have looked through the themes for android and ones like darkstar and superBW, but none of them just... CLIQ'd (sorry for the pun lol) like this one:

It doesn't seem like it would be too hard to port, just find which aspects match between the two platforms and create the rest if needed. The only thing I wouldn't think would be easy would be icons (i dont want my cliq to have the bland iphone square icons :P), and I am not skilled enough to even attempt to create an icon theme.

If anybody wants to poke around in the theme and give me an idea of how hard this would be I would appreciate it as I haven't done much with what is out already, so I dont wanna start from scratch and find it way too much work...

i loved that UI.
as an ex-iPhone user I can say that the UI components are completely different and that you'd end up making the majority of it over.

although I DO miss my matteUI... =/

I could try my hand at it. Seems fairly simplistic, I like it.
I dunno how much time I'll have but I'll give it a shot.

Yeah... after looking through it I could tell its not something i could handle. Most of the UI objects are SIMILAR but not IDENTICAL. Both interfaces use sliders , check-boxes popups with buttons, rating stars, etc. The main issue I believe would be scaling the images, something I am no good at. Kazan, I have used all of your themes and would say you and superbrad are without a doubt the most talented theme designers native to M3 so if you want to take this on you would be a hero!

This seems very possible, Just resizing and renaming alot off images can take a lot of time.

Well I have started working on status bar stuff because that should be simple and I'll be able to handle it. I will finish that and do the launcher and dialer/contacts buttons and post it as a priview. After that maybe I will try out things like the popup messages and buttons.

If somebody wants to work on some of the more compilacted UI elements that would be super!
