I looked at this but was hesitant to do it because it does not specify where to get the images from for .25r f/w... any ideas on that?

EDIT: OR you can wait till im done at work and walk you through how to use the samsung flash imager... thats what i used to pull the offsets

I guess I wasnt really awake this morning cause I didnt have rsa removed ... i must have opened the wrong file when i thot i was flashn the rsa removed one to the fone. now i have messed with this all day and am really confused. so much for being a persistent mofo haha.
what is the connection between the b/l and the f/w? are the problems because fb3 isnt using 0A.52? (i know u used got_moto but i didnt see compatibility with 0A.52 b/l either so would that help anything geting got_moto???) i still don't know how everything is all tied together, despite searching/reading the forums. you can find guides for this model or that model, this f/w or that one, this b/l or that one, but nothing is actually describing what you are doing, just click this, look for this string, etc.
For instance, when you said to try your offsets on your sig for the bootscreen, i had already tried the other ones for several other l7s, but i only had partials of the correct image. i concluded that the offsets are the hex address or location in the f/w where that image is stored. correct? mostly except for the terminology? so i figured something out today at least.

thats correct... you just need to learn how to use samsung flash imager and find a way to get RSA removed from CG1(firmware) and go from there

thats one theory BUT... it was also "said" that rsa "couldnt" be removed from 25R firmware... you can read it all over this forum and yet i stand before all of those who doubted and have done the "impossible". so instead of telling me what you cant do... why not tell me what CAN be done?

Well, I made a rsa removed MPwith R4517 .25 w/ b/l 0A.52. I split my shx, removed rsa, replaced the bootscreen image, edited the checksums, recompiled the shx, and loaded the flash with rsd3.5, didnt get any errors, and it said passed. BUT the phone still said error 39:02 on it and stuck in bootloader mode. Reflashing my backup i made prior to modding restored it. I then tried using fb3 to flash with both available l7 modes and it gave the same error on the bootloader screen. Reflashed to backup and back at ground zero after hours of work.

Do you want to try my MP and see if it will work on ur fone w/ ur bootloader? I don't know if this will help us figure anything out or not but i thought it was worth trying.

I know you used got_moto prior to modding your f/w, but I've looked around and dont see gm works with f/w with my b/l.

Any ideas?

just because others say it wont work doesnt mean it wont work... they are just telling you that it didnt work for them... at least thats the way "i" take it. just like ppl told me that it would brick my phone if i used GOT_MOTO... i used it more than twice just to let you know. but i "understand" if you dont have the luxury to "test' your phone. the way i see it each phone is different the same is true with each situation the only thing that is constant is "what is consistent"

First few things to do
1. Read guides for L7 [Here]
2. Read the Sticky Threads [In L7 forums]
3. Get the required softwares to mod ur phone [Here]
4. Know how to connect ur phone to PC [Here]
5. Get skins for ur L7 [Here]
6. Get Monster Packs, Fonts, DRMs, Lang packs for ur L7 [Here]
7. Get java applications for ur L7 [Here]

Before u start modding
1. Switch off ur phone press *, # & Power button simultaneously to know the S/W version and Bootloader version of ur phone. Write it down somewhere.
2. Make a full backup of ur L7 using Flash & Backup (register it, unless it wont give u full backup).
3. Use Motorola Phone tools to backup the Phonebook.
4. Before doing any seem edit keep a backup of that seem using p2k tools.
5. Be sure that the battery is fully charged (especially if u want to flash ur phone)
6. Use Skin Manager to install Skin
7. Use MotoMidman to install java applications
8. Use P2k tools or p2k commander to upload files to ur phone
9. Use p2k seem or p2k tools to upload seems to ur phone,
10. Use RSD Lite 3.0 or Flash & Backup 3.0.3/3.0.4 to flash ur L7.
11. If u want to flash ur phone with a monster pack(MP) compare ur phone's S/W version & Bootloader version with that MP. Then basing on the compatibility, decide to flash it or not.

While Modding
1. If u r using Flash & Backup select the active phone profile as L7 SLVR
2. Dont disconnect ur phone from PC.
3. Always restart ur phone after installing skins, java applicatios or seems.
4. Never delete or edit a skin which u r currently using.
5. Never delete any file from ur phone, if u dont know which files to delete.
