Do all Factory Unlocked Motorola Phones Get the Voicemail Sms " ^@"

    Hello,

I recently got a new slvr l7 brand new and factory unlocked. Everytime I check my voicemail I get the annoying text "^@". I also remember that this happened to my v3 razr when i flashed stock motorola monster pack to it. I researched the forums and discovered that this is a fairly common problem and there is a nice guide on fixing it.

Is this happening to everybody in the world or just in USA with the GSM networks here. If this is a worldwide phenomenon, why wouldn't motorola have fixed it yet ??

It's in seems edit, sorry I can't link you a lil lazy. Most of them do, I don't have it when I first bought it. Maybe by firmware.

Thanks for all the help guys, the Instructions the you posted worked Great.

This is the first time I've ever run into anything like this. I've owned several nokias, sony ericssons, and siemens and I've never encountered a problem like this in a factory unlocked phone.
