Slvr l7 keypad lights won't turn on

Sorry guys, I know this question has been asked a million times but I couldn't find a situation similar to mine. I got my slvr about a month ago and I of course started messing around with flashes and stuff. I messed up my phone and eventually had to do a testpoint to restore and reflash it.

Anyways, before I had to testpoint my phone the keypad lights worked perfectly. Now everything works fine except for the lights. They won't even turn on when powering the phone up. They have been completely off for the past 2 weeks, since I've done the flash.

I've turned battery saver off, did the seem edit (correctly I think), checked the ribbon. Everything seems to be ok. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks

How can you flash darling directly to your phone R4517_G_08.C4.25R, You would brick your phone if you try to flash.

Anyway flash is not recommended for your problem, there may be some loose contact after TP or there may be some damage to keypad lights.

sorry i should have explained that i managed to change the bootloader to 08.DR, so i am out of a sticky mp now. i didn't do a "real" test point. i was able to purchase a magic test point button, which worked the same as a real test point for me. anyways, i didn't have to move the keyboard connectors or fool with them so they shouldn't have been knocked loose. regardless I took the whole phone apart and tried tightening the connections, still no lights. the last time they worked was before i flashed the mp that bricked my phone the first time.
Thanks
