I have milkbone's MP loaded, correct time on my phone, autoupdate off, and I get the wrong time on my messages too. I had my phone in Minnesota and now I'm in Germany and I have a time received that is off by 7!!! hours.
Is there a time zone setting somewhere?

Hi!
Check this...
Open p2k Advanced Editor press "conect in p2k mode" then go to phone services>seem functions>seem 32 functions
Search the word "Time" and then press "find".
Press "read from phone", and search this string:
985 = PHONE_TIMEZONE_AVAILABLE
Check if it is activated, deactivate save changes and restart.
Regards.

Help!
Hey All,
I hope someone out there sees this post!
P2KAE wasn't working for me but I was able to disable the time/date auto update using seem editing.
First I had to edit the SEEM to make the autoupdate menu visible on my phone.
Next, I switched "auto update" from "on" to "off"
Now I still have the same problem, which is all of my incoming text messages are displaying the wrong time (5 hours behind my time zone)
NOTE: For whatever reason, the incoming phone calls show hte proper time. and yes, I have the proper time set on my phone.
How can I fix this!??
Thanks!

whats is the problem in using P2kAE?
- 11-30-2007, 09:13 PM #15
If you can't use P2kae, you can use p2ktools, most, or any p2k seem editor....
Just open your seem 0032_0001, go to offset 7B, and uncheck bit 1. Save seem, upload it, and that's all.
Regards!
