MMS Settings problem

This Is my First thread!:sad:


I am using an Airtel connection

From past 3-4 weeks i am trying to enable ma MMS service so that i can use Airtel Live or can access WAp websites

but when th settings arrive there comes a msg that an UPDATE is required !!
when i click on install button of updates There comes an error i.e
Cannot add newww mms . server profile or somethin like that

I hv wasted much money on this but still
same thing

If any one of u hv faced same problem and hav a sol pls help me!!!

delete at least one in the message center > menu > message setup > mms setup > server info and also make sure your websession is not full. 10 profiles is the maximum in your websession.

But now another problem is there wats the homepage of this mms setting

Cant we Use INTERNET with mms settings i.e opening at least wap sites

you will know the homepage by looking what websession profile it is using. go to websessions and click edit on that profile. but the problem is you can only edit it if it is unlocked.

i hv opened it its name is MMS type is WAP but there is no homepage stored when i try to open it it says " incomplete settings"

or something


Anyways Can we access wap sites???

in your websession profile the one thats named MMS is not really an internet profile, i think it's just there by default, you should be looking for Airtel or something to do with the settings your Service provider sent you

for browsing on airtel u need NOP or MOBILE OFFICE settings. on nop u can browse all wap sites. on MOBILE OFFICE with help of opera u can browse any site. (i am posting this reply from my L7 using MO SERVICE)

if u live in Maharashtra then send NOP or MO to 501 and u will get settings. to activate nop send nopact to 511 or gprsact to 511 or call help 121. they will provide whatever u want.
