Get Menu+0 shortcut(opcode menu) in ur phone
1. Use Random's SHX to extract bib files from shx
2. Open *2.bin file in hex editor
3. search for the hex string
14 00 00 00 04 00 08 00 02 00 06 00 03 00 0a
4. Replace it by
14 00 00 00 26 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
5. save it
6. Compile all the *.bin files into a SHX file using RandomSHX.
7. Move the new compiled SHX file into a new folder and split it using SHXCodec.
8. open the code group folder in SBf recalc
6. press Recalc checksum & then press create shx
7. Flash the new shx using RSD lite3.0

Removal of Excess(unnecessary) Folders From TransFlash
>After these removals your access to TF will be faster than before
>As usual Extract bin files by Random’sSHX
>Open *2.bin file in Hex Editor
>Search for the string [a] and replace it by [b]
>Be careful while replacing strings
>Be sure the whole string is selected & replaced by equal no. of characters
>After each replacement save it

>Now ceate shx from the bin files using Random’sSHX
>Open the shx using SHXCodec
>Split the shx file
>Open the code group folder(where u have split the shx file) in SBF Recalc
>Press Recalc checksum
>Then press create shx
>Now flash the new shx file using RSD Lite3.0

If u dont want to do it manually
just use the attached tool to do it
use CG1.smg file to patch

to anything you like

just search for this hex string 002E003F0021002C00400027002D005F003A003B0028002900 2600600022

and on the text column, edit the order depending on what you desire.

Ex:

Airplane Mode Patcher on L7 ACR_RB

1. Make a backup of CG1, CG3, CG7, and CG18 with FB3.
2. Split it with SHXCodec.
3. Run AVIA_FOR_ACR_RB.exe , open CG1 , and click Start.
4. Recompile it with SBFRecalc1.2.
5. Flash the recompiled file with RSD Lite.
6. Using P2kAdvance Editor, edit seem 0032_0001 - offset 37 - bit 2 (1 on/0 off) set to on.
7. Using P2kTools3 or P2kCommander or Motorola Explorer, download dnp.prf in a/.
8. Open dnp.prf with LanguageEditor, add String 0140 and put Airplane Mode (Language ID depends on the Language of your phone) for details see http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/show...4&postcount=16
9. Using P2kTools3 or P2kCommander or Motorola Explorer, upload back the edited dnp.prf to a/.

mine does. only works on ACR. you will need to activate the Status Icon feature and change it into Airplane by editing the dnp.prf with LanguageEditor

Change lock on menu+menu
extract your shx file by SBF Recalc
open the CG1.smg file with the attached tool & press start
again recompile all files to shx & flash it to ur phone

oh there was a typing mistake
actually it is change lock on menu+menu

for unlocking by menu+menu
u need to Change sequence 28 01 to E0 0B
but i am not sure regarding this

QUESTION(s):
i remember somewhere there was a guide telling what the CG's where: CG# - flex/firmware...etc
also...cant most modding be done through seems??? im thinking its all depends on what the seems where??:crazy1: i duno but my replacement for my replacement L7 comes in da mail today (i think i hope) i luv cingular! they send u one even tho they still havent gotten the one u sent! awesome!!! lol
p.s. yes, that means i have been through 2 L7's but the second one was a POS .25r newhoo...

Just tried this. It sets the lock buttons to menu + menu, unlock remains as menu + *.

i remember someone trying to change unlock and lock sequences, but they couldnt get it to unlock after they locked it. I think right now you can only change one of the sequences

(edit) is airplane mode available on dcr?
