Sorry for late reply, I was on vacation.

I no longer continue my motomodding business, I'm currently modding my Nokia phone. The L7 is now just another phone, which has the 'perfect settings' for me, I see no need for further developing.

The thing you are referring to is caused by a patch, known as night mode. Search the forum to see which seems to edit in order to change it's settings, this topic has been covered many times.

Again, I no longer provide constant support for my mps. I have changes in my life that require much more attention than phone modding (and no, it's not nokia modding ). I MAY reply to these threads and try to help you with your problems, but don't expect a fast answer, 'cause I won't be monitoring the posts 24/7.

Just what i feel about the L7 for my personal interests - and thats w/o any modding! - there is so much variability in music speaker quality, call quality/strength, build quality, reliability etc etc between different (makes of) mobile, as i remember reading about the Red L7 peers at the time it was released, that its very hard to find a mobile that has no weaknesses in any of these (of course partly subjectively judged) areas and so naturally the appeal of modding.


I would hope no one expects you to endlessly monitor + supply feedback for these forums, after all practically everyone "moves on" (the L7 forums seem pretty dead now compared to the impressive post count) in life as its nature is ever changing otherwise we would all end up with back logs of commitments and not enough time to maintain (physical/mental) health (whether directly or indirectly from time for earning etc being reduced).

Anyway GOOD LUCK for this new stage in your life!

can anybody tell me what changes have been to sound ?i mean is the gain table /param table edited for more bass or some changes in the cg1 .

Gain and param tables are edited for the loudest sound possible, while still having good sound clarity. The bass was also tweaked, you should hear improvements.

i have one problem with this MP. when i'm on a call the display light always stays on which kills the the battery really fast. can anyone tell me how to get the light to turn off on its own after a few seconds during a call?

Have you tried changing the backlight setting in initial setup.

i have and it works good during standby. the display light will turn off after 20 seconds like i set it to but that only happens when i'm not using the phone. when i'm on a call the light is always on which kills the battery even faster.

Is that the only MP that happens to. If yes. Check to see all what elf get auto start in auto.run

yes just this MP. i have used a few other MPs before and this never happened. just the default elfs that were on the autorun r there. io haven't added any new ones

the video aint opening and why put some much skin on the phone it depletes my memory although their cool but they take too much memory
