Invalid Battery
OK here is my problem i was listening to some music using the tunes elf on the New Moto Music Mp and i accidently pressed some button and back light started to flash and i didn't know what to do so i restarted the phone and ever since its saying invalid battery, the phone still operates normally, i can make an receive calls, i can still flash different fw and when i do is the same problem but the only thing is i cannot charge it, it jus says invalid battery and even when i try other batterys and fw its still the same problem so does anybody know what is the problem and how to fix it???????????

take a eraser and rub the "electrodes" of the batery, also clean the contacts, i mean those things which touch the battery electrodes..
if then too it doesn't help, time to replace the battery

How could he then replace the battery if he said that other batteries don't work? I believe there is a problem with the phone. Can it end up in testpoint or something related to PDS zone?

Aravind what u said didn't work, i tried that and even tried a brand new battery an it still didn't work, the date elf is what im using now to see my battery level because the icon for it has disappeared and Sullen Sky can u tell me what the 'Key pressed D'elf is for

I think it s may be problem with Mother Board Defective im also faced this with my ZN5

I got that problem, i used a eraser, and it was gone, i bought a new battery for my phone, 2 weeks in, gave me invalid battery, did everything, nothing worked, had to throw it away(waste of 1$)
anyways, i was just telling from my experience, ofcourse it might not work for you,same problems have different reasons
could be a hardware issue,maybe the connectors from the battery to the mainboard is corrupted? or the "pins from mainboard to battery isn't making a perfect contact.Last edited by Aravind; 11-22-2009 at 09:21 PM.

Do u use any DAP on the phone?
have u tried running phone without memory card?PROUDLY MOTOROLA L8 OWNER

No i dont use DAP and ive tried running without the memory card but its ok now i bought a new board so its perfect again so thanks to all of u for your help really appreciated it

I got this other problem, a friend gave me a l7 to flash and when i did i noticed the phone wasent getting no signal so i thought it was the airplane mode an when i checked it, it was off but i noticed that the first option to turn on the airplane mode says 'Sim A (Empty)'like its not reading the sim card and i've cleaned it and tried different sims but still the same problem so whats should i do?

i think we should take the pin out, about 5-10 minutes then use it again. phone working normal.
