contstant update notification annoying

I just did a manual update to RC29 (which went perfectly) but now I constantly get notifications that an update is available- constantly meaning 5 times between installing at 6pm to shutting it off at 11pm last night :mad:. I've also gotten 2 this morning.
Is there a way to turn this or change the frequency (besides updating to the rooted RC30)?

addendum: it seems to always show up after the phone has been asleep.

yes. Because all future OTA updates will close the root hole.

just manually update to the modified rc30. it def has made an impact my batt life

for those who are afraid of losing the OTA updates after installing the modified RC30, you shouldn't be. you can always revert back to the original "recovery.img" that would allow you to receive the next OTA updates. but you will lose root...forever? we do not know till someone finds a crack to get root again on the official updates..good luck..
