Cannot access G1 market

Hi,

I have set up and am using my local provider on the G1.

I have entered the wap/3g settings and have got the 3g logo flashing on the top panel of the screen.

I am able to use the browser with my settings so they seem to be working.


But when I select the market I get this

"There was a network error while trying to sign in"


Can anyone enlighten me on this issue?
