G Phone Motorola Milestone
Hi, just joined the forum here, since I was previously on modmymoto, but now I consider seriously in changing my motorola K1 to the motorola milestone.
Since it is a G-Phone
I thought here is the right place, but either the Phone is so new that nobody has heard of or the phone is such a POS that nobody likes to talk about it.
Can you guys help me to get my confidence back or at least make a decision easy for me since I´m kinda uncertain now if I still want it.
What I want to do:
1)Develop Applications on it
2)Use it as 'Palm TX' Successor
3)Use it as Phone of course
x)use it ...abuse it whatsoever as general purpose all knowing, connecting, wireless switching device
I´ll be thrilled about feedback of any kind.
all the best

It's not talked about much for two reasons.
1) It is very new. Last I heard it was announced for Europe, but not yet released. It will not work with US 3G bands, just in Europe.
2) It is the GSM version of the DROID, and again, it's 3G only works in Europe. So there's not much interest in the US at this point (and a lot of sites are US based.)
In any case, a section has been started for this phone. It is brand new:

As far as I know, an American GSM version is in the works.
