Building Android from Scratch
im interested on building my own android rom. is it easy or hard? planning on putting it on mb300.

Of course. I've done it. That is the pattern every android dev uses. The actual customization comes in the form of editing the source/device files as necessary. If you want examples of work, you can look at the CyanogenMod repos at github.com/CyanogenMod
Look at the android_device_XXXXX for the customized device files.
