Help me brick my phone! (but stay under warranty!)
So! I called up HTC about my phone and how it's been turning off and the 3 vibrates and blinking LED. The guy told me I can send it back, but if they find anything out of warranty, I will be charged. I'm running CM7, and will be charged if they find it. However, since my phone can't be turned off, I can't boot into the bootloader to flash the PD15IMG for froyo. So I need your help to brick this phone so they can't see that I'm running CM7, but keep it under warranty!
Thanks!

Do you have ADB set up? if so, you can reboot to bootloader by doing this
if you don't have ADB set up read here to find out howCode:adb reboot bootloader
Setting up and using adb
Devices available:

Most T-Mo stores will also have the stock GB update available that they can "update" your device for you. Is your power button not working? If your power button is not working, then you need to use adb to get into bootloader, but don't do it until you have the pd15img.zip on your sd card. I would download the update from HTC's website, it will get you the latest radio, bootloader, and firmware to your device, wiping out cm7.

No, it's my volume button. The software on the phone thinks its being pressed when it isn't so when I reboot or something, it'll try to boot into something that isn't there. Factory resets don't work, and I was able to flash the PD15IMG yesterday, however I believe s-off is still there, and I'm not sure if that voids my warranty. I tried to turn it on, but when I turned my phone off to boot into the bootloader, it wouldn't turn on, so I'm waiting for it to turn back on to try to get into ADB
