i dnt no wht is a root and open recovery.

plz tel me how to install firmware froyo 2.2.1 or other any similar.

plz give me detail step by step. with firmware link.

After install OR GOT v2.0 and launch 2.2.1 menu and then i press Fix 2.2.1 bug and i reboot system it only appear white screen with Motorola Logo. Now my mildstone can not use.It still can open recovery mod but i don't know what should i do to make My mildstone usable? Please guide me.

2.2.1 update is available in India and you can call Motorola call center [ India ] on 1800 3000 4343 and they will guide you on how to upgrade the OS.

I'm new at this, and old at life. I'm too old to learn a new language, but not too old to follow clear and concise directions. Is there anyone out there who can post clear and concise directions on how to update my XT720 (which has a buggy version of Dexter's Froyo)? I saw an update that will restore my FM volume control and I'm sure there are others that will fix all the things Dexter didn't. But I can not follow the language you people speak here and I'm too old to learn it. I would, however, like to have a phone that works the way it is supposed to.
