I have installed a monster pack yesterday and all was well...phone worked good ...till I received calls ...it echoed big time in my ear...and squelched like when you have the radio on and call a radio station..really bad..hard to hear....so when I got home I figured I would write another on to phone..but nothing detects it at all...p2k commander will detect and open up..but when I try to connect to phone a:/ it just shows a com port and doesnt read from phone...rds lite doesnt,flash backup doesnt....I have reinstalled drivers ..restarted computer...tried to put phone in boot mode * than # than hang up button, all together and nothing...wouldnt go to boot mode...very strange....and now as I type this my phone just restarted and rebooted and now it is showing the charging icon ( which it didnt do while giving me this problem ) and now I just checked and flash backup now detects my phone??? So I now dont have the problem I originally had when writing this post...now my question is...does anyone know what would have caused this???

yup service pack 2 is installed and the usb was connected properly...tried different ports also...each time it would say detected new hardware...bla bla bla...your hardware is installed and ready.....but nothing recognized it...very strange...it wouldnt even show the charging icon while this was all happening...oh well...it does work now...I changed my gain table and param table using bumbastics from the download section and seems to be clearer reception now...it was nasty for squelching in my ear...and the person on the other end heared it also...
