GPS app

I"m looking for a GPS app like the Telenav one thats available for the G1 but one thats a one time fee or yearly fee. Something besides the month to month payment one like Telenav. I want it to do turn by turn and all that like a true gps. Thanks. Any help is appreciated.

I wasn't looking to track my phone or my car. I just wanted an app for my phone that will use GPS to navigate me to a destination.

right now Telenav is considered the best, but as you pointed out, the monthly fees kill it.

with the search I have done only things really available right now is nav4all, free, tried a few times, a bit hard to find address, but works decent.

Quick question, I saw TeleNav nominated as the best GPS navigation app by the Android Network. (this is their blog page where it is posted: http://blog.telenav.com/blog/2009/08...etwork-awards/). Should I get this service or is some other service like Google Maps available? Thanks for the help.

Copilot is easy to use and a one time fee. I highly recommend it also
